How We Work

How We Work

We work directly with each Orthotist to produce the most effective custom-made Orthotic products available.

Our 6 step manufacturing process comprises:

1. Specification and negative cast received from orthotist.
2. Negative cast is then filled with plaster to produce positive cast to Orthotist’s specification.
3. The positive cast is then ready for moulding. Plastic is moulded around the cast and left to cool which takes 20 minutes to 12 hours depending on the plastic type.
4. The Plastic is then cut off and shaped according to orthotist’s specification and measurements.
5. Appropriate joints, pads, straps and linings are then added as necessary.
6. Final product is then checked against specification and quality assessed before being packed and sent to orthotist.

We pride ourselves on being easy to work with.  Simply place your order and you will always have direct contact with the technician throughout the process.

We will work quickly and accurately to the measurements supplied, and your custom-made orthosis will be designed and delivered in the timeliest manner, complete with a full support guide for you to pass on to your patients.

Thanks to our 30 years’ experience and reputation for the highest standards, we are seen as a trusted partner by many orthotists across the UK.
